Its 2,776 fps muzzle velocity and 0.391 ballistic coefficient (out of a 23.5” barrel) convey a flat trajectory coupled with supersonic performance until nearly 950 yards. The FMJ design promotes smooth feeding out of a magazine as well as a cleaner barrel, although its inability to expand makes it poorly equipped for deer hunting.
