How does Eley imbue a cartridge with so much precision? It all starts with the bullet, of course: a smooth-chambering beeswax-lubricated lead flat nose, which uses its patented frontal profile to preserve stability while it bolts through the air. The 40 grain chunk of lead certainly could have had a higher muzzle velocity, but being subsonic only helps make its trajectory that much more predictable. Quiet report and low recoil, too!

This cartridge features Eley’s signature cut case mouth, which further enhances accuracy by ensuring that the bullet neatly separates from the case on ignition, as well as its manufacturer’s legendarily reliable primer. Each round in this brick of 500 was inspected by finely calibrated computer equipment. No two *aren’t* alike!
